Day 10-11: the end

So here I am, back at the university with a to-do list so long thinking about it makes me want to cry a little bit...yet I've spent the last two hours updating the blog. Fabulous.

The last day of vacation was us making the long trek home. We took a morning train back to Dublin and spent a couple of hours there seeing what we hadn't had had a chance to see the first time. But it wasn't very planned out, so we saw a couple churches and then wandered, got some things in the gift shops, and made our way to the airport.

Gorgeous Ireland

We accidentally found a Polish church!

St. Patrick's : you brought Christianity, and to celebrate your contribution... we all get drunk on your day

We got to the airport, got on the plane, and went to Birmingham. My cousin, just as I thought she couldn't get any sweeter, asked one of her friends if she could put us up for the night. We had to be at the airport at five in the morning, so we had at first planned on just sleeping in the airport, but we didn't have to. :)

So today, at four am, we woke up, got dressed, took a taxi to the airport, got back to Montpellier...and had class at 1:45pm. It. Has. Been. A. Long. Day.

Now that I finally updated this thing, it's time to get some food because my fridge is totally empty, and get started on the million and one things I have to do.

Overall the trip was great, except for a few pitfalls here and there. I'm so glad I went, despite how stressed out I'm going to be as a result of not doing anything for over a week. Sometimes I forget to stop an appreciate what I have right now. I'm living through one of those times I know I'll remember forever, and I feel very very lucky to be able to do that.
